Green Machines will be showcasing its two new Vectrix electric scooters, the VX-2 and VX-1E, at the upcoming Irish Motorbike and Scooter Show.

The VX-2 is the new entry-level platform Vectrix, which is a compact electric equivalent to a 50cc internal combustion engine (ICE) bike.

Weighing in at 195kg, it has a wheelbase of 138cm and a seat height of 76cm.

Using a 48-volt battery that plugs into a standard home socket, it recharges the bike in about three and a half to five hours, and has a range of up to 80km.

The VX-1E uses the same platform and drive train as the VX-1 but is targeted towards the 125cc market.

It has a lower speed and less acceleration.

In today’s economic climate, these are two machines that you should most definitely not feel guilty about purchasing. Prices to be confirmed. For more, see greenmachines.ie.
