Isle of Man gearing up for TT
THE ISLE of Man is gearing up for its most important event of the year as the TT road race festival kicks off this Saturday May 30th with practice week.
All eyes will be on legendary MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi as he struts his stuff on his Yamaha R1.
Fans will be treated to another year of competitive racing from TT greats such as John McGuinness, Steve Plater, Cameron Donald and Bruce Anstey.
To mark Honda’s 50th anniversary there will be an exhibition at the Manx Museum during the races.

BMW marks milestone
BMW IS releasing 500 special edition R1200GS models to celebrate the half-a-millionth GS model produced since 1980.
“The R1200GS SE will feature over and above the standard specification GS,” according to Dave Humphreys of BMW Motorrad.
The machine boasts striking alpine white paintwork, black cross-spoke wheels, a tinted windscreen, two-tone seat, and protective aluminium cylinder head covers. It also features premium pack (TPC, ABS, ASC) and dynamic pack with a chrome exhaust pipe, ESA, heated grips, OBC, and LED Indicators.
