Clondalkin: from €212,000: The entire 22 two-bedroom apartments go on sale this week at The Orchard, a small development consisting of two low-rise blocks located off Cloverhill Road in Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

Property Partners KBA is the selling agent and the developer is Eddie Bennett. Prices begin at €212,000 for a few one-bedroom units of 42 sq m (452 sq ft) and €260,000 for two-bedroom apartments of 70 sq m (753 sq ft).

The Orchard is built and the apartments will be ready to move into as soon as paperwork is completed. While standing on its own just now, this redbrick gated development will eventually be surrounded by residential and commercial buildings in a new €450 million new town scheme planned for the area by Dublin City Council.

Another advantage of The Orchard is its proximity to the Liffey Valley Centre which is a few minutes drive from the site. Standard features include balconies with some larger units, pale wood kitchen units, tiled splashbacks in bathrooms and kitchens and fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms. Heating is by natural gas. Well landscaped, the development is bounded by iron railings and high walls, with a closed circuit television system and electronic gates. Designated car-parking is above ground and free. Viewing takes place this Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
