French Ski Resort:Intrawest has announced that it is to build another four-star ski resort in Les Arcs in the French Alps. Apartments in Les Souverains in Edenarc1800 will cost from around €280,000 and will go on sale around Easter.
The apartments will range in size from one to four bedrooms.
People interested in buying units can register with selling agent Erna Low Property in the UK and will go on a priority list. This is the Canadian-based developer's second resort in Les Arcs - four villages in Savoie in the heart of skiing country - and its third in Europe.
Edenarc 1800 will have views of Mont Blanc and the Tarentaise valley, according to the agent.
Facilities in the resort will include an "aqua-relaxation" area comprising hot tubs and a fitness area. The properties in Les Souverains will be built of natural stone and wood.
Intrawest is a major international developer, especially of ski resorts: it developed Whistler, the ski resort north of Vancouver that will be a host venue for the 2010 winter Olympics and Paralympic games.
