In Rathgar, Kincora, a refurbished five-bedroom semi-detached period house at 18 Zion Road was withdrawn at £1.6m (2.03m) by joint agents Sherry FitzGerald and Lisney which sold it later for £1.7m (2.15m).

The bidding opened at £1.3 million and three bidders chased the house in bids of £500 until it was withdrawn. Before the auction the agents had been guiding £1.5 m for the house.

Elsewhere in Dublin 6, a three-bedroom house at 20 Belgrave Road, was withdrawn by Lisney which is seeking £760,000 (965,000).

Christies fetched £500,000 (634,869) at auction for a three-bedroom house at 3 South Circular Road in Dublin 8.

HOK Residential sold Corradina, a four-bedroom detached house on 0.5 acres on Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock after auction for over £750,000 (952,303.

Nearby at 4 Cross Avenue, Blackrock, a three-storey over garden level house in need of modernisation was withdrawn by Gunne Residential.

In Foxrock, Dublin 18, HOK Residential is seeking £2m (2.53m) for Erinagh, a five-bedroom detached house on Kerrymount Avenue, following its withdrawal from auction.

An end of terrace house at 1 Crofton Avenue, D·n Laoghaire, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential.

In Churchtown, Dublin 16, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 13 Upper Churchtown Road, Churchtown, was sold after auction for over £300,000 (380,921) through Sherry FitzGerald.

The same agent is seeking £370,000 (469,803) for 35 Highfield Park, Dundrum, following its withdrawal from auction.

At 48 Dummartin Terrace, Goatstown, a two-bedroom cottage sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £278,000 (352,987).

In Lucan, Co Dublin, a two-bedroom cottage at Westmanstown,was withdrawn at £165,000 (209,506) and sold later for a higher figure through McDonald Bros.

Also in Lucan, the same agent withdrew 16 Woodville Close, a three-bedroom bungalow.

Dublin 2 & 4

Bennetts sold a three-bedroom semi-detached house at 14 Seafort Gardens, Sandymount, at auction for £445,000 (565,033).

A five-bedroom period house at 43 Waterloo Road, was withdrawn at £850,000 (1.07m) by Allen and Townsend which is seeking £1.2m (1.52m).

In Ballsbridge, 31 Wellington Place, a four-bedroom detached house was withdrawn at £3m (3.80m) and is under negotiation through joint agents Lisney and Daphne L Kaye &Associates.

A three-bedroom house, St Judes at 12 Auburn Avenue, Donnybrook, was withdrawn at £560,000 (711,053) and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

Wicklow

Jackson-Stops is seeking over £785,000 (996,744) for Westerly Lodge in Greystones, following its withdrawal from auction.

A farmhouse on 38 acres, Bahana in Enniskerry, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops which is seeking over £1m (1.26m).

Also in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, a four-bedroom house, Ridgewood at Cookstown Lane, was withdrawn at £875,000 (1.11m) and sold later for a higher figure through HOK Residential.

Near Blessington Lakes, a five-bedroom detached house on 1.5 acres, Brittonstown House was withdrawn by joint agents Coonan and Nolan &Brophy who are seeking £600,000 (761,842).

A four-bedroom bungalow on 2.2 acres, Owenbeg on Church Lane, Newcastle, was withdrawn at £360,000 (457,105) and sold later for over £430,000 (545,987) by Jackson-Stops.

North Dublin

In Clontarf, Dublin 3, 3 Castle Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is seeking £600,000 (761,842).

A detached four-bedroom house, La Jonca at 146 Foxfield park, Raheny, Dublin 5, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is seeking £425,000 (539,638).

11.5 acres of agricultural land at Milverton, Skerries, Co Dublin was sold at auction for £305,000 (387,279) by Ganly Walters. It was bought by Skerries Harps, GAA and Camogie Club.

Private Treaty

A large detached Victorian house with 4,499 sq ft on 0.2 acres at 4 Appian Way, D 6, was sold for just under £1.75m (2.22m) by Sean Davin Auctioneers.

Sherry FitzGerald's Ranelagh office reported two private treaty sales: at 7 Lr Elmwood Avenue, Ranelagh, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house made around £340,000 (431,710).

At 2 Pleasants Street in Dublin 8, a villa-style three-bed house sold for £290,000 (368,224).

In Dublin 4, Jackson-Stops has sold 24 Merlyn Park, a four-bedroom semi-detached house for £800,000 (1.01m).

A 1.3-acre site at Rathmichael Haven on Ferndale Road, was sold by Ganly Walters for just under £600,000 (761,842.

In Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, 75 Eagle Valley, a five-bed house was sold for under £800,000 (1.01m), through Jackson-Stops.

Provincial

In Co Limerick, Bridgemount House, a large house on 126 acres in Abbeyfeale was sold at auction for £551,000 (699,625) through joint agents Ganly Walters and North &Co.

Property Partners-Brady is seeking about £365,000 (463,454) for a five-bedroom dormer bungalow, Rathcoffey near Maynooth, Co Kildare, following its withdrawal from auction.

Also in Co Kildare, a three-bedroom house at Allenswood, Leixlip was withdrawn by Ganly Walters which is seeking over £700,000 (888,816).

Jackson-Stops is seeking around £600,000 (761,842) for White Lodge at Castledillon, Straffan, after it failed to sell at auction.

Still in Co Kildare, a cottage on 29 acres at Richardstown, Kildangan, was auctioned in two lots by Matt Dunne.

Lot 1 a house on 2.5 acres sold for £135,000 (171,414).

Lot 2 comprising 26 acres made £190,000 (241,250).

The Raymond Potterton agency auctioned three Co Meath properties.

A three-acre site at Headford Demesne, Kells was withdrawn at £220,000 (279,342) and is under negotiation.

A four-bedroom house on 112 acres, Ashfield in Clonard, made £800,000 (1.015m).

Meanwhile a four-bedroom bungalow on 0.5 acres at Cogan Street, Oldcastle, sold at auction for £146,000 (185,381).

Again in Co Meath, a house on 13 acres at Blackhall Little, Dunboyne was withdrawn and is under negotiation through J S Fox.

Meanwhile near Dunshaughlin, 9.5 acres at Grange End, Bonestown, was offered in two lots by Ganly Walters and T.E. POTTerton.

Lot 1 with 1.6 acres was withdrawn at £250,000 (317,434) .

Lot 2 with eight acres was withdrawn.

In Co Louth, Killin Park House and Golf Course in Dundalk, a country estate on 150 acres was withdrawn at £3.7m (4.69m) and is under negotiation through joint agents Ganly Walters and Gunne.

A 42-acre farm at Gortletteragh, Farnaght and Drumgilra near Mohill, Co Leitrim was sold at auction for £225,000 (285,691) by Sherry FitzGerald Farrell.

In Co Offaly, Millbrook House, a four-bedroom house on an acre in Birr, was sold after auction for close to the guide price of £450,000 (571,382) by HOK Country.

A two-storey derelict house on seven acres, Newtown, Kilmore Quay, Co.Wexford, was sold at auction for £145,000 (184,112) through John Keane.

Commercial

In Garristown, Co Dublin, a licensed premises, Garristown Inn, was sold at auction for £780,000 (990,395) by John Younge.

In Dublin 1, Mother Kellys public house at 74 Talbot Street was withdrawn by agents Gabriel Dooley which is seeking £1.1m (1.39m).

A retail premises at 165 Lr Kimmage Road, Dublin 6, was withdrawn by Anne Kelly.

Smith Harrington withdrew The Owls Rest pub on Dublin Road, Kells.

A retail premises at 41 Main Street, Arklow, Co Wicklow, was withdrawn at £370,000 (469,803).

It is under negotiation through joint agents Sherry FitzGerald-Myles Doyle.

In Edenderry, Co Offaly, two retail units with two apartments at 92 JKL Street, was sold at auction for £390,000 (495,197) through Colm McEvoy.
