Peter Kenny moves to Knight Frank to build high-end residential portfolio

Kenny to focus on Killiney and Dalkey markets

News reaches us that one of the stalwart selling agents of luxury Dublin 4 homes is moving on to pastures new. Peter Kenny is leaving his role with Colliers International to join the Knight Frank residential team.

Kenny, who was with Colliers for 13 years, in that time was instrumental in bringing in high-end residential auction properties. Once that fruitful well ran dry he managed through the downturn to keep a steady through flow of €1 million-plus private treaty properties.

Regularly competing toe-to-toe for properties on the same turf as residential heavyweights like Simon Ensor of Sherry FitzGerald and David Bewley of Lisney, it's likely Knight Frank is hoping Kenny can deliver more premium residential properties for them, as it's an area they haven't capitalised on since HTMOR took over the Knight Frank Ireland franchise from Ganly Walters two years ago.

When asked if the new role will see him moving beyond his Dublin 4 turf, and into country homes where Knight Frank once held a strong market presence, Kenny said he would be targeting the lucrative Killiney and Dalkey markets too. It’s not quite green welly territory yet, Peter, but it’s a start.
