Dublin-based housebuilder Dwyer Nolan has paid £2 million (€2.54m) for the Village Inn licensed premises which stands on four acres of development land in Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow. The site, adjoining St Joseph's Church, is zoned for town centre projects. The development plan for the town envisages rapid population growth over the next few years. Gabriel Dooley Commercial handled the sale. The same agent has secured £400,000 (€507,900) for The Pizza Mill, a 32-seater restaurant in the centre of Greystones.
