A site sold by a religious order in Drumcondra, Dublin 9, is to be redeveloped for housing. Dublin city planners have given notice of their intention to grant planning permission for a large scheme in the grounds of All Hallows, on Church Avenue. The scheme will include 28 five-bedroom houses, 19 three-bed townhouses, 28 two-bedroom apartments with three-bedroom duplex units overhead. In Co Kildare, the Jackson Group from the North has lodged a planning application for 54 houses at Nurney. The Kildare planners are also studying an application by Wardara for 109 houses at Dreenan, Derrinturn.
