Richard Rawson, sales director for developers Persimmon Houses South East, says Clapham is an "excellent location with a plethora of bars and restaurants, not to mention excellent commuter links to London". The agents suggest one-bedroom apartments in this area of London can command a monthly rent of £1,000-£1,100 (around €1,455-€1,600) while two-beds rent for around £1,500 (around €2,182) a month.

Intero, which also includes a commercial element with the capacity for a new superstore and rises to six storeys in places, is scheduled for occupation this autumn. An added bonus is that Clapham tube station is within easy walking distance of the development - the West End is about 10 minutes on the tube.
