Gadgets galore as new unit sets higher Jervis rent

The latest retailer to arrive in Dublin, The Gadget Shop, is to open a shop at the Jervis Centre. The company has 30 outlets in the UK and one in Belfast and retails a considerable range of gift products. The company is to pay a rent of £85,000 for the unit, which was previously occupied by Regis Hair Salon. According to Fintan Tierney of Lambert Smith Hampton, the letting reflects a significant up-lift in rental values at Jervis Street. Regis had been paying a rent of £50,000 per annum for the same unit. Hamilton Osborne King are joint letting agents at the centre.
