In Clontarf, Dublin 3, a two-storey over basement four-bedroom period house in need of modernisation at 201 Clontarf Road was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for a strong price of £560,000. Douglas Newman Good has secured about £800,000 after auction for a five-bedroom house at 165 Templeogue Road, Dublin 6. Daphne L Kaye & Associates has sold three houses after auction: at 14 Nutgrove Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14, a fourbed semi-detached house made over £382,500. A fourbedroom detached house at 28 Granville Road, Blackrock sold for over £600,000, while in Killiney, 7 Anglesea Park, a detached fourbedroom house sold for over £440,000. Meanwhile Hamilton Osborne King has sold two large country properties: in Co. Louth, The Old Rectory, Drumcar, a period house on 6.5 acres, made over £650,000 while Rathwade House, a late-Georgian property on 13 acres in Nurney, Co Carlow has been sold for over £1 million.

In Co Kildare, a derelict cottage on four acres at Kildoon, was sold at auction for £54,000 through Matt Dunne.

The same agent withdrew Flynn's newsagents at Tullamore Road, Portarlington at £352,500 and The Canalside Inn at William Street, Athy at £300,000. Both properties are under negotiation.

Murtagh Bros sold three acres with planning permission for two bungalows at Coralstown, Kinnegad at auction for £146,000.

Near Courtown, Co Wexford, The Cottage Restaurant at Riverchapel was withdrawn at £450,000 and is under negotiation through Gorey agent, Ben Kavanagh.
