SALES RESULTS:IN ITS final auction of the season, Lisney failed to sell Alverstoke, an interesting Arts and Crafts house built on half an acre on Bray Rd, Foxrock, Dublin 18.

The four-bedroom house, which has some splendid interior detail such as panelled walls, and original fireplaces, was withdrawn from auction yesterday and is now for sale at €3.15 million.

The grounds offers some scope to extend the house, subject to the necessary planning permission.

Elsewhere, in Dublin 6W, Douglas Newman Good failed to fine a buyer for a semi-detached house at 14 Fortfield Drive in Terenure. Pat Mullery, who is handling the sale, is now seeking offers in the region of the €1.3 million.
