Size:Grenada measures 21 miles by 12, but seems larger because its interior is filled with mountains and rainforest. There are five different provinces and four large towns. The capital city is St George on the western part of the island. Islanders claim it is the prettiest harbour in the Caribbean.

Property purchase costs:stamp duty is 1 per cent. The Government also charges a 10 per cent purchase tax, and 15 per cent tax on sales. But these taxes have been almost eliminated for buyers of deSavary property. Buyers in the Port Louis and Mount Cinnamon developments pay no purchase tax, and the sale tax has been cut to 2.5 per cent.
