60 acres in Malahide to make £1.5m-plus

FORMER Dublin businessman Mannix Smith is expected to secure in excess of £1.5 million for a 60-acre site at Swords Road, Malahide, Co Dublin, which is to be sold by tender on May 7th. The Shane Redmond Group is not indicating a guideline price, but given that 34 acres zoned for agricultural use near Kinsealy recently made about £820,000, Mr Smith's land should also achieve a broadly similar valuation. There is full planning permission for a nine-hole golf course, clubhouse and driving range on the land, which adjoins the huge Seabury housing development.
