Number 70 Rathgar Road, a two-storey over garden level four-bedroom period house, was withdrawn from a Gunne auction at £565,000 and sold shortly afterwards for a figure believed to be slightly over £570,000.
Elsewhere in Dublin 6, an end of terrace house at 10 Greenmount Road, Terenure, was sold at a Douglas Newman Good auction for £360,000.
Also in Terenure, 106 Greenlea Road, a detached four-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £255,000.
In Harold's Cross, 4 Sion Hill Avenue, a three-bedroom redbrick terraced house, was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £230,000 by Flynn & Associates.
In Clonskeagh, a three-bedroom house at 61 Gledswood Park, off Bird Avenue, was sold at auction for £162,500 by Lisney.
A detached four-bedroom bungalow on half an acre at Prospect Lawn, Knocklyon Road, was sold at a Lisney auction for £302,500.
South Dublin
IN Blackrock, 17 Woodlands Park, a detached five-bedroom house on a quarter of an acre of garden, made £496,000 under the hammer at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.
At 9 Woodbine Park, Blackrock, a five-bedroom semidetached house was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £265,000.
The same agent withdrew 19 Cloister Grove, Blackrock, a fourbedroom semi-detached house, at £150,000.
In Mount Merrion, The Gables, on Sycamore Crescent, a threebedroom detached house, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £333,000.
In Dun Laoghaire, 2 Haigh Terrace, a double-fronted five-bedroom period house, was withdrawn at £350,000 by Sherry FitzGerald. The agency is now quoting £475,000.
A semi-detached three-bedroom house, Knocknagow, at 204 Upper Glenageary Road, Glenageary, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is quoting £240,000.
In Sandycove, 2 Castle Close, a detached five-bedroom house off Castlepark Road, was withdrawn at £385,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Lisney.
In Rathmichael, Hawthorn Lodge, a five-bedroom detached house on 0.75 acres, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King, which is quoting £850,000.
Dublin 2 and 4
IN Ballsbridge, 58 Lansdowne Road, a two-storey over garden level six-bedroom Victorian house with outline planning permission for two mews houses, was sold at auction for £1.53 million. Several bidders chased the semi-detached house, which was auctioned jointly by Lisney and Sherry FitzGerald.
Elsewhere in Ballsbridge, a three-bedroom townhouse at 22 Shrewsbury Park, Ballsbridge, was sold at a Lisney auction for £392,500.
In Donnybrook, a five-bedroom redbrick semi-detached period house at 1 Brendan Road, Donnybrook, has been sold prior to auction by Harper O'Grady. The agents are believed to have fetched a price in the mid£400,000s for the turn of the century house, which has strong historical associations. It was built in the early part of the century by a Kerry builder, Bat O'Connor, who was a close friend of Michael Collins. He became expert at hiding people in the house during the Civil War and built a secret room for Collins that defied many a raid on the premises.
Also in Donnybrook, a large semi-detached house at 2 Eglinton Park, off Eglinton Road, was withdrawn by Frank O'Donnell, which is quoting £375,000.
In Temple Bar, Dublin 2, a twobedroom duplex apartment at The Cutlers, on Parliament Street, was withdrawn at £215,000 and is under negotiation through Jackson-Stops McCabe.
Nearby, at 3 Fownes Street, Temple Bar, a large, five-bedroom apartment was withdrawn by Lisney, which is now quoting £660,000. The 3,000 sq ft apartment occupies three floors of two 18th century townhouses. Refurbished under the guidance of a conservation architect over the past three years, the apartment has three reception rooms and a large kitchen-cum-diningroom. Four of the five bedrooms are located on the top floor off a wide, glass roofed landing.

GUNNE secured a strong price of £244,000 at auction for 29 Lower Churchtown Road, Churchtown, a refurbished three-bedroom terraced house.
North Dublin
Jackson-Stops McCabe secured £505,000 at auction for Hampton House, a seven-bedroom period house on seven acres in Balbriggan, Co Dublin. An adjoining yard was sold for £50,000.
O'Farrell Cleere sold 57 Yellow Walls Road, Malahide, Co Dublin, at auction for £240,000.
In Clontarf, Dublin 3, 69 Clontarf Road, a four-bedroom terraced house, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £251,000.
A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 21 Iona Park, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £290,000.
In Portrane, Co Dublin, The Old Schoolhouse was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Douglas Newman Good.

IN Bray, Ballywaltrim Lodge, a detached five-bedroom house at Hollybrook, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops McCabe, which is quoting £380,000.
Knockrobin, a five-bedroom dormer bungalow on one acre at Willow Grove, Delgany, was withdrawn at £350,000 by JacksonStops McCabe, which sold it later for a higher figure.
A four-bedroom cottage on 0.9 acres, Coole Cottage, in Ballydonarea, Kilcoole, was withdrawn by Clarke Delahunt, which is quoting £300,000.

In Co Kildare, The Hill House, a five-bedroom period house on 1.75 acres in Naas, was withdrawn at £640,000 and is under negotiation through Jordan Auctioneers.
