Get the kids in the kitchen this weekend as Taste of Dublin teams up with Universal Pictures Ireland to host a Minion-themed family fun zone.

Minions Kevin, Stuart and Bob will be hosting an interactive arts and crafts zone, with face-painting, daily entertainment shows and kid-friendly baking demonstrations with Kevin Dundon, all to celebrate the release of Minions in cinemas on June 26th.

For those unaware of Minion heritage you need to know that since the dawn of time Minions have been destined to serve nefarious masters, from T-Rex, to the Pharaohs to Napoleon.

Finding themselves without a master to minion for before Despicable Me’s hero/baddie Gru, the Minions find themselves lost and depressed. Kevin, Stuart and Bob decided to venture out into the world and have teamed up with Scarlet Overkill, an ambitious baddie voiced by Sandra Bullock who is determined to become the world’s first female super-villain.

There’s still one more week to go until the film hits our screens, but until then you and the kids can learn to bake with your favourite Minion trio at the Taste of Dublin 2015 on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of June.
