In a few short years, The Lir has become a redoubtable feeder school for the industry, beginning the careers of a range of theatre practitioners through steady development, showcases and public productions. Here, in one of the final events of this year’s Tiger Dublin Fringe, the National Academy of Dramatic Arts hosts an afternoon of rehearsed readings featuring play excerpts from its Masters in Playwriting graduates. With the visibility of Lir students at this year’s festival, on stage and off, this may count as your first contact with a host of new talents, but certainly not your last.
