In the company of singer Amy Boone, Vlautin has again created an array of characters chasing a dream only to catch a nightmare. Expect languid alt.roots mixed with country/soul.

Halloween will see Shine mark two decades in the clubbing business, quite a feat in this day and age. For tonight’s event, they’ve rounded up some of the names who made Shine such a force to be reckoned with. Dave Clarke, Darren Emerson, Funk D’Void and Medicine 8 join homegrown Shine regulars Alan Simms, Simon McDermot, Psycatron, Dilly, Paul McClean and others.

Get ready for a taste of the tropics as Ruf Dog comes to town. Island is the debut album from the Manchester DJ and producer for Music for Dreams. It was recorded by on his portable studio in Guadeloupe in the French Caribbean. Aside from the album, you'll find the Dog at play at Manchester's Soup Kitchen club, Wet Play parties and on his NTS radio show. Support from the Touch Sensitive crew, Jonny Carberry (Dirty Talk) and the Belfast Music Club honchos.
