The newest version of Google’s Arts & Culture app, which allows you to match your selfie to a work of art, is now available to download in Ireland.

Art Selfie utilises computer vision technology to scan your photo and search the collections of all the museum partners across the world involved in the project. Users can find out more about their artistic matches by tapping on the Doppelgänger.

The app is available on both iOS and Android operating systems and uses the Art Selfie function to search for matches. Since it’s launch, over 78 million selfies have been coupled with works of art thanks to the tech company’s partnership with 650 different institutions to make the works available.

The app can be downloaded from iTunes and the Google Play store.
