A 19TH century secretaire abattant is expected to fetch up to £2,000 at an auction being held by Mullen Bros on its Co Meath premises next Tuesday evening. Other interesting pieces of furniture in the same sale include a late 19th century Chippendale revival china cabinet (estimate £1,500-£1,800), an Edwardian inlaid mahogany bedroom suite (£600-£900), a Victorian mahogany writing desk (£400-£600) and a giltwood and ebony drawingroom harp in need of restoration (£400-£600).
