Catch the boat to the crawl

If you though The Boat That Rocked was just a film about radio piracy on the high seas, think again

If you though The Boat That Rocked was just a film about radio piracy on the high seas, think again. The Meteor Dublin Camden Crawl has announced its very own rock’n’roll party cruise – well, sort of – between Holyhead and Dublin.

The aim is to encourage UK and Irish ex-pat music fans alike to travel to the Dublin leg of the festival, with the Stena-sponsored ferry setting sail from the Welsh port on Friday, May 3rd and travelling overnight to Dublin. There'll be live performances and DJs on board, as well as a 24-hour bar and even a pirate radio station to tie in with the theme.

Last week a number of early release festival tickets at low prices (from €1 to €10) sold out, and early-bird weekend tickets at a reduced rate of €40 are on sale til the end of February. We'll have the full line-up for the event, which take place across various Dublin venues on May 4th and 5th, on these pages in the coming weeks. See
