What's the best gig you've been to?Redneck Manifesto at Electric Picnic in 2007. The whole crowd was dancing, and I ended up in a group of 30 people I knew. Happiest gig I've ever experienced and the band couldn't stop smiling on stage either.

And the worst?Radiohead in Malahide Castle. The crowd talked over Bat for Lashes and continued to chatter over Radiohead's entire set, so much so that all I could only hear conversations about what people were going to wear out the following night and work gossip instead of the band. It was a disaster.

Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs?Richie from Jape and David Kitt.

Most embarrassing on-stage moment?Forgetting to set my vocal effect properly and singing a full verse in "chipmunk voice" in the Spirit Store last year.

Groupies. Would you?I won't tell you what the boys said but I don't think I've ever met a groupie!

How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs (ie, how big is your entourage)? We're totally self-reliant. We even tie our own shoes!

Have you a special stage wardrobe? We've reluctantly mothballed the Spandex . . . for now.

Do you like to meet and greet fans after the gig?Of course, although proximity might be dictated by how hot it was on stage.

What's the worst thing ever thrown at you?Faint praise.

If you could be in any other band, which one?The Knife. If I never took the mask off, they may not even notice it's me.

Who's invited to your aftershow party?Jedward to keep everyone awake. Bill Murray because he's great. Michael Stipe to add some sincerity.
