CastleStorm

CastleStorm is a neat real-time strategy/tower defence game. In a war between Knights and Vikings, you play Sir Gareth, who protects his employer's castle from sieges and attacks. Fire javelins from the tower; send troops to fight on the ground; and even dabble in magic . You have to wait for your fancier weapons to refill periodically, but there is the option to teleport yourself into the battlefield and get stuck in. CastleStorm mixes elements of classic strategy games, namely the catapult of Angry Birds and the tit-for-tat violence of Worms, along
with a few ideas of its own. The blend of beat-em-up with real-time strategy works well. It's presented in a goofy, retro way, with cartoonish 16-bit style graphics und ze funny accents. And you can play a campaign, "skirmish" or multiplayer: Amusing, user-friendly and charming.
