The annual evening certificate course in fine and decorative arts organised by the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers starts next Tuesday. Held every Tuesday and Thursday evening over a period of 15 weeks in the IPAV's premises on Upper Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin, the course includes a broad range of lectures on all aspects of the field. These include furniture, painting, interiors, glass, ceramics and silver. Such specialists as Roxanne Moorhead, Christopher Moore, Douglas Bennett, Mary Boydell and the Hon Desmond Guinness will give lectures.
