The caption to an illustration in last Saturday's Fine Arts & Antiques columns stated it had been drawn by George Campbell. In fact, it was a pen and ink drawing of George Campbell by Arthur Campbell.
A report in Monday's editions said Mr Slim Barrett of Athenry was the first Irish recipient of a De Beers Diamonds International Award. We are advised that in fact the award was received previously in Ireland in 1966 for a design by Mr Enda McCann made by Mr Stephen O'Shaughnessy in his workshop in Cork.
