THE MAIN focus this week will be on the exchequer returns for January, which will give a good indication of how the economy has performed in the opening weeks of the new year. Wednesday’s live register figures will also be watched with interest. Meanwhile, the ECB meets on Thursday and is expected to leave interest rates on hold.
