TuneTug uses social media to address that age-old problem; who gets to control the music at parties. Simply download the app to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac OS computer, load up a playlist and invite your friends in the room to vote for what should be played next. The song that gets the most votes get played next.

Although you need an Apple device to create a party, anyone with web access and the code for your party can take part in the voting.

The Post-It note tribute to Steve Jobs

With this week's Apple staff memorial ceremony to the company's founder and visionary in California, the tributes to Steve Jobs aren't abating just yet. While Jobs would no doubt be embarrassed by this public outpouring of grief, he'd probably be impressed by the creativity of his fans in Munich, who created a larger-than-life mosaic of him on the window of the local Apple store using 4,001 Post-it notes.
