But the Boomstick could solve your woes. It’s a small attachment that is compatible with any set of headphones or earphones, and will transform their sound from dull to divine.

It boosts the sound you get from your standard headphones, making it sound richer and more detailed. At $99, it’s a little pricey for an add-on – you could, for example, just invest in better headphones – but it has the advantage of working with multiple sets of headphones, earning its price tag. The bad news? It’s currently only available in the US.
