Portable Bathroom Scales, €28
Bathroom scales are one of those little annoyances that take up space in your bathroom, yet most people seem to have one. The Portable Body Scales is designed to be so compact, though that they could fit in your handbag. (Although really, we’re not sure why you’d want to put them there.)
The white scales are just 21cm long but can weigh up to 150kg (that’s about 330lb in “old” measurements). They have a toughened glass exterior, with the weight displayed in the centre of the scales, in red digits for good measure. It switches between kilos and pounds at the flick of a switch and will automatically turn on and off when you step on the scales.

Calibur11 Gears of War Vault, €89.99
Gears of War 3has hit the shelves and, if you haven't managed to get your hands on the limited edition console and controller, this could be the next best thing.
Calibur11’s Gears of War Xbox 360 Slim Vault is an interactive case that is officially licensed by Epic Games, with custom painted “bleed out” chassis and body. When you are killed by an opponent, the LED “infected omen” – on the side of the case – glows red. It is not only great to look at, but it also has some practical uses.
The vault brings more stability to your Xbox slim and has a holder for your controller. The perfect reason to invest.

Belkin Chef Stand + Stylus
One of the advantages of tablet devices is the ability for them to turn their hand to almost anything. That includes, as a lot of people have found, a cookbook.
The problem though is often keeping your expensive device clean, out of harm’s way and still within easy reach.
Belkin's new product, the Chef Stand and Stylus, will prop up your tablet and ensure that you keep your screen crud-free. It has a non-slip rubber base and can be used at two angles. The magnetic tip on the stylus works with touchscreens and can be hand-washed in warm water. belkin.com
