Musgrave Group is to outsource its IT functions to IBM. However, it has insisted no jobs would be lost as a result of the deal, confirming that the affected roles – less than 10 in total in the Republic – would move to IBM.

The retail group will move the service delivery of its IT infrastructure, operations, desktop support and networks to IBM.

Musgrave is in the process of buying grocery chain Superquinn for an undisclosed sum after the retailer was placed in receivership.
