A consortium that developed the information technology systems to support the Bloody Sunday tribunal has been awarded the Society for Computers and Law IT Award 2001.

Touch-sensitive screens displaying evidence, a 360degree virtual reality recreation of Derry, video conferencing and real-time transcription are available to the tribunal.

The consortium comprises ICL, Oyez Legal Technologies, NICLR, Smith Bernai International, MK Audio, Toptel International, Ramick and Deloitte & Touche.
