SUN Microsystems, the network computing and Internet solutions company, has opened a new £4.5 million European software centre in Dublin.
The company has also announced the setting up of a pan-European call centre where 20 people will be employed initially. Both the call centre and the software centre will be based at East Point Business Park, near Fairview.
Some 100 employees will work at the software centre, which was opened yesterday.
