Ever wondered what to do with your old broken mobile phones? Oxfam and Digifone have teamed up for the charity's "bRing bRing" appeal, and they want to take them off your hands.

The appeal encourages people to give their old mobiles a second life, while raising money for Oxfam. Each phone is worth an average of €6.35 - the equivalent of a year's school fees for a child in Tanzania.

As a partner in the appeal, Digifone is setting up collection points for old mobile phones in its centres and stores.

The phones can also be dropped into Oxfam shops.

The donated mobile phone and accessories are brought to a central location in Britain where they are repaired if possible or otherwise disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

All the funds raised by the appeal go towards funding Oxfam projects.

To donate your phone, regardless of make or network, just remove the SIM card and bring it to any Digifone centre or Oxfam shop.
