The fallout continues for former Marketspreads executives Fergus Rice and Brian O'Neill, who were declared bankrupt last month over a €1.2 million debt to their former firm. Accounts for Sports Spread Betting (Ireland), a Dublin bookie that trades online, say Rice resigned as a director following the bankruptcy, to be replaced by 81-year-old Patrick Rice. O'Neill also works at SSB, and is name-checked in the accounts. ROR Spread Trading is named as SSB's owner in a filing on January 14th, two days before ROR was dissolved. Intriguing.
