Ms Aileen O'Toole, former journalist and co-founder of the Sunday Business Post, has set up a consultancy to advise companies on their Web presence. The Dublin-based start-up is a two-person operation called Amas. It employs contractors such as web developers and journalists to fulfil projects.

Ms O'Toole has co-founded Amas with Ms Maeve Kneafsey, a former chief executive of magazine publisher Hoson Group. Ms O'Toole said that Amas would advise firms that were having problems getting a return from their online investments. The company offers a number of services such as research, design and content creation.
