The importance of finding the real business benefit of Internet activity will be highlighted at a seminar next week

The importance of finding the real business benefit of Internet activity will be highlighted at a seminar next week. The Irish Internet Association is hosting a one day conference entitled "The Communications Challenge" for people in small and medium-sized businesses.

The event will take place in Co Kilkenny and focus on business people that have some experience of the Internet, but would benefit from hearing experts discuss the changes being wrought by the new technology.

Speakers will include Mr Barry Flanagan, founder of IOL; Mr John Galloway of Annestown House, Waterford; Mr Roger Halligan, House Of Ireland and Mr Ken McCarthy from Motorweb. The event takes place in Mount Juliet Hotel, Thomastown, on Tuesday, June 29th, at 9.30 a.m. Further information is available on the IIA website at www.iia.ie/kilkenny
