TWO British directors of Marlborough International, who sold their Walker Hamill recruitment company to the Irish group for £21 million last year, have each sold more than £1.2 million-worth of Marlborough shares to meet a tax liability associated with the takeover.

Mr Robert Hamill and Mr Brian Walker sold 770,000 shares at €2 (£1.58) each to meet the tax liability. Mr Walker and Mr Hamill hold 262,445 Marlborough shares after the share sale.
