Audi's sales in Ireland rise by 22%

Carmaker Audi saw sales rise by 22.4 per cent in Ireland during the first six months of 2011.

Carmaker Audi saw sales rise by 22.4 per cent in Ireland during the first six months of 2011.

Overall, the Audi group increased revenue in the first half of 2011 by 22.5 per cent to €21.5 billion.

“Despite the economic downturn and instability which has affected consumer confidence, we continue to surge ahead and grow the business in Ireland,” Audi’s director for Ireland, Andrew Doyle, said.
