Marks & Spencer began work yesterday on a £15 million refurbishment of its store at Mary Street, Dublin, increasing the floor space to 100,000 square feet from 64,000 square feet. A new sales floor will be added in the year-long development. A new store being built at Quarryvale, Co Dublin, will be opened in October, 1998.
