An online supplier of business intelligence announced a deal yesterday with Lawlink, the Internet service for lawyers which is jointly run by IFG Group and the Law Society. MAID, a public company, will design and implement a customised business information service for Lawlink users, adding to their current store of company, and legal and land registry information. In return, MAID will receive a return on the revenues generated through access to its content pages, a fee for development costs and an annual fee. "MAID will contribute to the Lawlink service a current awareness feature, allowing subscribers to track news about companies and industries of their choice, access to newswires, country, market and company reports, and other key data," according to a statement from IFG. With offices in London, Hong Kong, and Carolina, MAID is traded on the Nasdaq and London stock exchanges.
