DUBLIN based international banking software company, Kindle Banking Systems, has secured a $1m (£640,000) contract with the Cayman National Bank in the Cayman Islands. Kindle will supply a comprehensive software and maintenance back up service to the bank, having been chosen above a number of other bidders after a detailed evaluation exercise, the company said.

The software is to include applications for back office accounting and transaction processing, account reconciliation and data storage. Full implementation of the package at the bank is expected to take 12 to 15 months.
