Internet-ready PC launched

Eircom and Hewlett-Packard Ireland have introduced an "Internet ready" personal computer designed to encourage small businesses to get online quickly. The package includes email, a basic website design and shopping platform which allows the small business set up its own online store. Prices start at £969, including hardware and software.
