IFSC 'fails to exploit services'

Dublin's IFSC has not taken full advantage of a range of financial services in the way Asian countries, and China in particular, have done, according to Mr Leo Goodstadt, former chief policy adviser to the Hong Kong government during the transition to Chinese sovereignty.

At an Irish Exporters' Association seminar in Dublin yesterday, he said financial institutions ∩n Asia were reorganising their banking, pensions and insurance services and actively developing management and investment relations with the West.
