IBM will also supply IT services to support Coca-Cola's roll-out of SAP systems across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The roll-out will take place across 23 countries and is expected to take several years to complete.

As part of the agreement, IBM will also supply a full fibre storage solution and a central procurement programme to Coca Cola.

"We are pleased that, following a stringent vendor selection process with representatives from seven countries, we concluded on IBM Ireland and thus we're able to continue a successful relationship that we have had for many years," said Mr Clyde Pereira, head of strategic initiatives at Coca-Cola.
