First-e staff to learn fate today

More than 500 workers at the Irish-based Internet bank, First-e, are waiting today to hear how many of them will lose their jobs in a #70 million (£55.12 million) cost-cutting exercise. Staff were told earlier this week that 90 full-time jobs would go, together with 120 contract staff, but industry sources last night speculated the figure could be higher.
