A SUBSTANTIAL convenience store as well as warehousing and a yard in the eastern residential district of Dundalk, Co Louth, is to be offered for sale on the instructions of receiver Kieran Wallace of KPMG.
Sherry FitzGerald Carroll is quoting a guide price of €775,000 for the Londis store and adjoining premises beside Dundalk Port. The store includes a branch office of An Post, an off licence, National Lottery franchise and a hot and cold delicatessen. The store has a modern fit out and extends to 278sq m (3,000sq ft) and has a similar floor area for use as storage. There is planning permission to extend the shop as well as the warehouse, which has a floor area of 538 sq m (5,800 sq ft).
The entire property, which covers an area of 0.25 of a hectare (0.6 of an acre), is for sale by tender on May 3rd.
