Two Independent Newspapers directors have each made small share purchases in the market

Two Independent Newspapers directors have each made small share purchases in the market. Chief executive Liam Healy bought 5,000 shares at 237p while deputy managing director Gavin O'Reilly has bought another 5,000 shares at 240p each.

IAWS director Rory Toal has realised over £71,000 after selling 25,000 IAWS shares at 285p each. Mr Toal retains just over 244,000 shares in the company.

Athlone Extrusions director Jo van der Flier has spent over £63,000 buying another 92,000 shares in the plastics group, bringing his total stake in Athlone to 442,000 shares or just under one per cent of the total.
