Conduit, the provider of telephone information services, has signed an agreement with the Swedish group Ahhaaa to supply international directory services for Ahhaaa's 118100 service. The service, in both English and Swedish, will be operated from Conduit's international facility in Dublin. This two-year deal is Conduit's first contract in Scandinavia for the provision of directory assistance services.
Conduit currently provides international DA from its Dublin premises for customers in Austria, Ireland and Switzerland. Conduit has also reported strong revenue and call volume growth in the first half of the year. Revenues jumped from €3.7 million in the first half of 1999 to €12.6 million in the current year while call volumes were up 281 per cent to 19.8 million calls.
