Santry site with lapsed permissions for sale for €3m-plus
Land in Dublin 9 on 3.84 acres zoned for high-density, mixed-use development
The Santry site at Ballymun Road is designed to support ‘the provision of an appropriate quantum of residential development’.
The site extends to 3.84 acres and is zoned Objective ME (Metro Economic Corridor) to facilitate “high density mixed-use employment generating activity and commercial development, and support the provision of an appropriate quantum of residential development” under the Fingal Development Plan 2017-2023.
A number of planning permissions were previously granted for the site but these have all since lapsed.
It also has 200m of road frontage to the Northwood campus and another 100m to Northwood Crescent to the east.
The 220-acre Northwood campus includes the four-star Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ben Dunne Fitness Centre, McDonald’s and a range of other high-profile retailers combined with extensive residential schemes in an attractive parkland setting.
Subject to planning permission, the site could suit offices, residential, student accommodation and retail – or a combination of all four.
