Development Land: An exceptionally fine "ready-to-go" development site, above, for a 60-suite hotel and 50 detached holiday homes in Enniscrone, Co Sligo, is to be sold by tender on November 4th.
CB Richard Ellis Gunne is quoting a guide price of over €4 million for the 6.8-hectare site which is located at the entrance to the Enniscrone golf links.
The facility will be only a few minutes' from Bartragh Island where Nick Faldo is presently designing what is planned to be a world class links course.
With limited facilities locally for visitors and holidaymakers, it is expected that the new development will have a ready-made, high-spending international market to cater for. Because the site is located in a BMW region, the proposed development will attract significant capital allowances that will not be ringfenced.
Enniscrone is a fast-growing holiday resort with an ever-increasing number of visitors opting for short breaks.
